Judge Not

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Wednesday, May 25, 2016,

“And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye?” Matthew 7:3-4.

We need to keep our own hypocrisy to ourselves as Matthew 7:5 reminds us: “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Many times thos...

Time Has Made Yet Another Change

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Saturday, February 27, 2016,
As most probably are aware; another southern gospel icon has left for his reward.  Buck Rambo departed on that eternal journey this past week.

I cut my teeth, so to speak, on The Rambos. I guess if I ever had a musical idol, it was Dottie Rambo. A woman that God surely gifted with a message to catch the people's ears!

So many have left us for a short while, but I believe that once we make that entrance into that Heavenly City, I'll get to sing along with those that helped shape my love of mus...

Rainbow Colors!

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Sunday, May 10, 2015,

It has upset me terrible how America has let down her standards, but something that many haven't probably thought of is the use of rainbow colors! On a spiritual side let me say that God created the rainbow! Not only are the colors beautiful, but it was given by God as a sign to the promise He made that the Earth wouldn't be destroyed by water again, but that fire would one day destroy it!

I find it ironic that rainbow colors are the ones that 'gays' have chose to represe...

Official Book of Tennessee

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Sunday, May 10, 2015,

I may get a lot of flack on this, but I tried to state my case in as few words as I possibly could.

WCYB posted a poll this morning asking our opinion as to whether or not the Bible should be the official book of Tennessee. This was my response.

."I say YES! Historically it's one of the oldest books that is still in circulation. Although I don't know all it's history, I know that it goes back even to England before our nation was established. On a spiritual viewpoint, I be...

Just an idea...

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Sunday, May 10, 2015,

Just an idea... I know we're living in the last days. The end-time is at hand; but that doesn't give Christians the right to be ignorant. Just saying. No, I don't think all are, but some have actually gave me the excuse that the less they knew, the less they were held accountable fo

r. I just don't think that'll float when we stand before God!

First off, let me assure you that so many people have touched my life in a positive way that I could never begin to list each one's name! Qpolitical - About Brad Paisley

They Told Brad Not To Say ‘Jesus’, What He Did On Live TV Stunned The Whole Room

"Wow, This is so powerful. He talks about how loyal and amazing country fans are, and then he goes onto sing his first verse in “This Is Country Music” that silenced all his critics that day:

“You’re not supposed to say the word Cancer in song. And telling folks that Jesus is the answer… can rub em wrong. It ain’t hip to sing about tractors, ...

July 31, 2013 - I AM DELIVERED

Posted by Glenda Pounds on Sunday, May 10, 2015,

I am embarrassed, yet totally excited to write this. Some of you may have known, where I'm sure others didn't.

Right off the bat I'll tell you what I was delivered from........smoking.  You say, 'Oh is that all?'  But if you only knew! Why I ever allowed myself to pick up such a habit is beyond me. I was raised very strict pentecostal, but remember toying with the temptation all through teen years. First I want to say to any questioners and/or doubters, yes I was a ch...
